I've never really got the hype of New
Year's and thanks to my tendency to forget how to leave the house over
Christmas; my plans for the night weren't actually made until the day of. That
said, it was one of the best year's to date.
After a healthy dose of fajitas, we headed
into Soho just in time for the big countdown. We ended up completely losing track of
time and didn't actually walk in the door until 5am - welcoming 2015 with weary
eyes and tired feet.
Next morning (read: 2pm), we only had one
thing in mind, M1LK. Fueled by juices, flat whites and other gourmet delights,
we whiled away our first day of the year under the warming heaters of this
Aussie cafe before dragging ourselves home to the comfort of our duvets.
Disco pants - American Apparel | Cami - River Island | Necklace - Alex Monroe
Healthy dose of goodness in old school milkman's bottles.
Fresh platter of sweetcorn fritters, grilled halloumi, smashed avo, kasundi & lime.
Kurdish baked eggs, chorizo, spinach & labneh. Buttery sourdough to mop up the juices.
Starting 2015 as I mean to go on - eating. Let's hope I can tick a few other gems off my never-ending list of foodie spots this year!
